This is a nail biting novel written by Dr. Gilbert.  It takes 7 people from the Bible and puts them in a single church and runs through various plots and twists.  Through the trips and turns, you learn the loose interpretation of what is written in the Bible about the personalities of David, Tamar, Lot and his two daughters, and Joseph just to name a few.
